The apps your team uses are called Group Apps. They are centrally added for you and will appear in your workplace. You don’t have to do anything and can start using the apps immediately.
If you are in several groups, the apps for all teams will appear in your workplace.
For example, if you are a part of the marketing group, you can see all relevant marketing apps in your workplace. You know directly which apps are being used and don’t have to search for all the apps yourself. This is especially useful, if you are new to the team or if your team is using a new app.
